Law in Africa Certificate Program — Cohort 3
A certificate course in Law in Africa, jointly certified by SIMAD University and the University of Bayreuth, for 20 committed students.
Candidates follow a Certificate Course in Law in Africa. On completing the program, students receive a certificate jointly issued by SIMAD University and the University of Bayreuth. The third cohort recruited 20 students; applications closed on 31 March 2024.
Who can apply
- A demonstrable interest in law in Africa, shown through training or education
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Being a current SIMAD student or alumnus is desirable but not required
What is offered
- A certificate jointly issued by SIMAD University and the University of Bayreuth
- A kick-off seminar with the existing cohort
What is expected
- A one-page motivation letter
- Evidence of knowledge of law or a legal background
- Evidence of English fluency, relevant certificates, a passport photo and proof of identity
